ABOUT LE MANS 1989

The last of the "real" Le Mans – the first Swedish victory

Stanley Dickens is one of Swedens most successful racing drivers at the international level. He became the first Swede ever to win the Le Mans 24 hours in 1989, back when motor sport was motor sport. 2019 marks the 30th anniversary of the event, and this homepage is a hommage to the race, the drivers and that beautiful Sauber-Mercedes Benz car.
